As a family, we were preparing for a welcome breakaway, jam-packed with fresh early morning starts and endless evening camp fires.
However, I’ve noticed that there are two common denominators (hence my heading) involved in planning future assignments with the aim of improving on past ones, based upon one’s preceding experiences. Pretty much the same as choosing a courier company that you want to deal with or are currently dealing with.
My point is that in all our daily undertakings, including dealing with courier companies, we must have a certain degree of readiness and have an improved end result pictured in our minds as to what the desired outcome should be. If not, any obstacles you might have faced would undoubtedly have watered down your end result - regardless of how impressive it appears to be.
At Gobi Logistics we strive to implement this approach in all our daily activities. We aim to be prepared for any possible scenario, including those once off challenges. We will always first review the situation (#Prepare) and thereafter visualize the desired outcome (#Improve) that best suits both ourselves and our clients, thus providing solutions for potential obstacles.
You’re probably asking, “Why does this even matter?”. Well, with our experience in the courier industry spanning across ten years, we believe that the focus should rather be on cutting expenditure than on operational preparation and improvement, as this in itself will ultimately lead to an increased revenue when implemented accurately.
In the end, less mistakes equals increased productivity.
